Busy Mom Socials began during one of the most uncertain and painful chapters of my life. Before starting the agency, I worked as a nanny for families throughout San Diego. I became deeply connected to the mothers and children I served, and I played a meaningful role inside their homes.

I loved the work, but internally, I felt God calling me toward something different. I did not know what that next chapter was supposed to be, and leaving something familiar felt scary. So I stayed longer than I knew I should have.

Then, in 2020, everything changed.

While driving home early from my nanny job, I was hit by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run accident. I was left with six herniated discs, chronic pain, and a body that could no longer keep up with the physical demands of childcare.

I had to accept that being a nanny was no longer an option. The children deserved someone who could take them to the zoo, run with them at the beach, and participate fully in their lives. As painful as it was, I knew I had to let that chapter go.

For a while, I did not know what my body would be capable of or how I would support myself. It was one of the most humbling seasons of my life.

During that season, I experimented with every opportunity I could find. I sold used Apple products. I created digital products. I worked for Instacart. I explored different business ideas and tried to understand where my strengths belonged.

Looking back, each experience taught me something about business, resilience, marketing, and people. Even before Busy Mom Socials, I had always understood how to position myself. As a childcare provider, I created First Choice Sitter, a reliable backup childcare service for San Diego parents.

That experience showed me that marketing and positioning felt natural to me.

I began learning through HubSpot, Google, YouTube, online resources, and every educational opportunity I could find. Traditional college had never been the right environment for me. I learn best through hands-on education and action.

Eventually, I invested the money I received from the accident lawsuit into a social media marketing program. At the time, it was essentially everything I had.

The program gave me knowledge, but the real education came from working with clients. I was honest from the beginning. I told my first clients I was learning, growing, and building experience. I did not pretend to have everything figured out.

My years as a nanny allowed me to see how much mothers carry. Many of the moms I supported were nurses and healthcare professionals working long shifts to provide for their families.

Busy Mom Socials became a continuation of that mission. Instead of supporting mothers inside their homes, I wanted to support them inside their businesses.

I am not a mother yet, but I have the utmost respect for mothers. I am engaged, preparing for marriage, and excited about becoming a mother in the future. Working with moms has remained deeply meaningful because I understand that the businesses they are building are often connected to the lives they are creating for their children.

At the beginning, I wore every marketing hat. I was the strategist, content creator, photographer, video editor, graphic designer, caption writer, account manager, researcher, and business owner.

Eventually, I realized that one person could not sustainably provide the level of quality our clients deserved. That is why Busy Mom Socials grew from a social media management service into a boutique agency.

Today, our team brings together specialized skills across strategy, operations, graphic design, brand design, video editing, content creation, copywriting, publishing, and client experience. The same principle behind our brand applies to our own company: No one is supposed to do everything alone.
